Walk + Talk Therapy

Walk and Take Therapy can be incredibly beneficial. It is a unique modality of treatment that combines talk therapy, physical movement and Bi-Lateral Stimulation (BLS). BLS helps to activate both the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Walking is a bi-lateral movement and helps with brain intergration. BLS has been shown to be effective in processing difficult feelings and memories.

Physical exercise is great for the body and nervous system. It releases Endorphins (the feel good hormone), which is important to experience pre and post birth. This helps to increase positive mood and decrease stress.

Combining walking and therapy I aim to help process hard feelings while improving mood, energy, mind body connection and self-esteem.
